PORT MACQUARIE is the gateway to 100km of majestic waterways, whale watching & national park eco cruises
Port Macquarie Cruise Adventures operates 6 cruise boats across a broad range of water activities, including river & ocean dolphin & whale watching. The magnificent waterways comprise the 3 rivers Hastings, Maria and Wilson, full of marine life including bottle nosed dolphins, sea turtles, crabs, prawns, oysters and fish. Cruise Adventures have 3 river cruisers (shown above) carrying up to 150 people at one time. The newest vessel ''Discovery 2'' (top left) is a 54 passenger Murray River cruiser catering to coach groups, parties & functions. We have the only passenger vessels capable of navigating the shallow sections of the rivers to the National Park & Oyster World plus cover the vast distances required to see the Everglades (90km return) and Wauchope. Whale watching in 2011 was the best ever with 99.7% successful sightings. Humpbacks pass close to Port Macquarie on their migration north from May to November each year. We operate 4 whale watching boats with departures every 30 minutes during busy times. Sports Boat Rides on 3 fast RIBs (rigid inflatable boats). This is definately the best fun way to see our magnificant coastline or river and also for whale watching. DOLPHINS ARE ENCOUNTERED ON MOST CRUISES Oyster World parties & functions. This unique venue upriver has operated for nearly 30 years as a cruise boat stop-over and party venue. Feed the 100s of friendly fish who live there. Cruise Adventures operate 3 ticket offices. The main booking and departure centre is Dolphin & Whale Watch Centre, a TEAL GREEN floating ticket office on the Short Street Wharf (northern end of Short Street) Port Macquarie. We also have a shop-front office at 3/74 Clarence Street with a magnificent screen display showing the best of our cruises.
