WHALE WATCHING last year was fantastic and we saw whales right up to 26 November.
We have now logged 4000 trips and have
4 boats operating most days during the season.
Port Macquarie whale watching is the best it gets. The gentle giants of the sea, majestic humpback whales, migrate past here non-stop from mid-May to the end of November.
Port Macquarie Cruise Adventures vessel Discovery (shown above) is the longest running whale watching cruise boat in the area. This fast 40ft all weather catamaran and our 3 fast RIBs (see jet boat page) only carry only 12 passengers each to sea so that every person can get that perfect photo. With 4 boats and headland spotters we have no trouble finding whales.
In the last few seasons we have also seen Orcas (killer whales), Pilot, Minke, Brydes & Southern Right whales as well as 3 species of dolphins, sea turtles, manta rays & sharks.
Discovery is a multipurpose cruiser easily converting for whale watching or river cruises, parties and charters for up to 40 passengers.
